Hello Everyone!
As we all know that The tech Giant Nokia is all set to boom the gadget market soon, Now according to some reports Nokia is trying to trigger a comeback for its popular N-series smartphones. The N-series device were once well known for its amazing software and it ruled the gadget market. While the phone came to be loved by one and all and initiated a revolution in design mechanism, but it got lost somewhere with the advent of new manufacturers. Nokia is again all set to revive the N-series design. According to a news Nokia brand now has been working on a mid range smartphone and it will be named after the famous Nokia N95. There is a probability that the latest smartphone will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, to be held later February.
Nokia N-series was a multimedia smartphone and tablet product family engineered and marketed by the Nokia Corporation. The N-series devices commonly supported multiple high-speed wireless technologies, such as 3G, or Wireless LAN. Digital multimedia services, such as music playback, photo/video capture or viewing, gaming or internet services were also supported. The line was replaced by the Nokia Lumia line as the company's flagship smartphone portfolio.
The Nokia N1 tablet was introduced in November 2014 and so revived the 'N' prefix. However the company have not marketed the 'N-series' brand so far.
But Now, HMD Global reportedly made a filing for an N series trademark with SAIC (Chinese State Administration for Industry and Commerce). The leaks in China contain the documents regarding the filing of names like Nseries, N-Series and other variants of the terms. The first N series phones came to the market 12 years ago, under the names N70, N90 and N91. These devices became a huge hit, and so did their successors. They were then replaced by the Lumia series by Nokia. While the erstwhile devices contained OS like Symbian, MeeGo and Maemo, it can be expected that the new lineup will run Android. Nokia N series will reportedly contain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series and will go for mass production, the leaks suggest.
Interestingly, Nokia seems to be betting only on China to make a comeback, as the filing was made in China only and earlier it had launched its latest phone, the Nokia 6 in that country itself. Nokia appears to be going with a different strategy for different markets like it had launched the Nokia 150 phones in Europe. So, it is only a matter of time that Nokia hits the smartphone market with a slew of devices.
